My passion for accounting began in high school when I discovered I truly enjoyed my accounting classes and realized I had a natural interest in helping businesses understand and manage their finances. Today, I’m proud to bring that passion full circle by providing bookkeeping and tax services to individuals, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in North Idaho and beyond.
Beach Bookkeeping & Tax Services carries my family name and represents the personal commitment I bring to every client relationship. As a lifelong resident of the same North Idaho community where I graduated, I understand the importance of trust, relationships, and supporting local businesses.
With over 30 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, and administrative operations, I have gained a diverse background that allows me to understand business from many perspectives. My professional experience includes 10 years working in the credit department for Louisiana-Pacific, handling billing and financial processes for Kootenai County, and owning and operating my own neighborhood bar and grill for 13 years.
Owning my own business gave me firsthand knowledge of the challenges entrepreneurs face every day—the importance of accurate financial records, managing cash flow, staying organized, and having reliable information to make sound business decisions. I understand that business owners need more than someone who simply enters numbers; they need a trusted partner who understands the bigger picture.
After the loss of my husband, I made the decision to sell my bar and grill and return to my passion for financial services. On January 1, 2025, I officially launched Beach Bookkeeping & Tax Services with the goal of helping business owners spend less time worrying about their finances and more time focusing on what they do best.
Since starting my business, I have assisted clients ranging from new startups building their foundation to established businesses needing ongoing bookkeeping support. I provide bookkeeping services, QuickBooks assistance, and tax preparation for individuals and businesses, including corporate tax returns.
